Starred Orders are a simple yet powerful way to keep track of the most important orders in your office. Whether you need to follow up on a job, ensure a high-priority order is moving smoothly, or simply keep tabs on specific requests, Starred Orders help you stay organized and never lose sight of what matters most.


Why Star an Order?

Many SpecCheck users handle high volumes of orders every day. With so much information flowing in, it can be challenging to quickly find the orders that require special attention. Starred Orders solve this by giving you a way to mark orders for easy reference, ensuring they’re always accessible with a single click.

Additionally, when you star an order, you will automatically receive emailed updates about the order as it moves through production. This means that in addition to checking the system to see if an important job has moved, you’ll also have the ability to get key status updates delivered straight to your inbox.


How Starred Orders Work

You can star any order to mark it as important from both the Orders Overview page, as well as from the Order Details page of the order that they would like to star. A gold star will appear next to the name on the order.

Once an order has been starred, it will appear in the Starred Orders filter on the Orders Overview page.

Once an order is no longer a priority or no longer needs to be starred, simply click the star icon on Orders Overview or Order Details to unstar it and remove it from the list. Please note that once you unstar an order, you will no longer receive emailed status updates about the order.


Free vs. Pro Plan Differences

Free Plan: You can star up to 3 orders per month. Once the limit is reached, you must wait until the next calendar month until you can star any more orders.

Getting Started

Using Starred Orders is easy! Navigate to your Orders Overview page, find an order, and simply click the ⭐ star icon to mark it. To view all starred orders, select the Starred Orders filter at the top of the page.
