Hot Signals is your early warning system for deal activity. It highlights companies and talent attracting repeated investor attention over short timeframes—often a precursor to fundraising or key market moves.

Why Hot Signals Matter

In fast-moving markets, knowing who's heating up gives you a competitive edge:

ā° Timely Intelligence – Instantly surface companies and founders gaining momentum—from short-term 30-day spikes to longer trends building over 2 years.

ā€‹šŸ”‹ Predictive Power – It’s not just social noise—Specter filters for meaningful investor behaviour, helping you flag rising stars before they hit the headlines.

ā€‹šŸ“ˆ Strategic Advantage – Stay ahead of the market by identifying potential raises or exits early, giving your team more time to engage.

How to Use Hot Signals

Hot Signals live within the Investor Interest Signals page. You can explore them two ways:

Filter by Hot Signals

  • Click Add Filter > Signal > Hot Signals.

  • Select your timeframe: 90, 180, 360, or 720 days.

The feed updates to show only companies or talent that appeared in Hot Signals within that window.

Ideal for: Quickly narrowing your focus to those with recent, verified momentum.

Sort by Hot Signals

Click the Sort button.

In the dropdown, scroll to Number of Signals and pick your preferred timeframe.

The list ranks companies and talent by signal count—those attracting the most investor attention appear at the top.

Ideal for: Prioritising outreach to the hottest prospects based on signal volume.
