Step 1: Access Import List
Under Lists, click on 
. Import List serves as a quick way to personalise and grow your feed by uploading Companies, People, or Investors of interest via
CSV.

Download our CSV Template to format your file for smoother processing.
Step 2: Upload file and Import
Upload the CSV file by simply clicking the 
button or dragging and dropping. Specter will get back to you confirming the results of the Import.
Step 3: Import Processed
Once processed, you’ll receive a breakdown like this:
Note: If records are unmatched, we are notified and will add them in due course.
Tip: Only root domains are supported for company matching. Subdomains (for example, app.tryspecter.com) will not match a company, use the root domain instead (for example, tryspecter.com).
You can also download unmatched records to review which entries didn’t match, giving you full visibility into everything uploaded to the list.
Step 4a: Save Matched companies into an existing list
Click Save to List, select the list or search and either click directly on the list or press add to list.
Step 4b: Save Matched companies into a new list
Select Create New List, enter your new list name and select the list, as above.
