Use the Signal Source filter within Investor Interest Signals to zero in on activity from specific VC, PE, or strategic funds.

How to Use It

  • Head to Investor Interest Signals

  • Click Add Filter > Signal > Signal Source

  • Start typing a fund name and select from the dropdown.
This tailors your feed to include only interest signals originating from your selected firms.

đŸ“© Requesting a New Fund to Track

Can’t find a fund? You can now request it directly from within the Investor Interest Signals page.

Once requested, Specter will begin tracking investment professionals at that fund through its social signal detection engine. If high-confidence signals are found, they’ll be added to future weekly feeds.

Note: Not every request results in visible signals. We apply strict filters to surface only high-quality, actionable activity—see What is Investor Interest Signals â€ș for how this works.

⚠ Deprecated Filters – Action Required

If you have Saved Searches showing as Deprecated, you’ll need to update them:

  • Go to the search

  • Reapply the Signal Source filter using the new standardised dropdown

  • Save your search again

This ensures you don’t miss fresh signals due to outdated firm labels. To focus on signals of interest being produced by specific funds, you can use the Signal Source filter to identify names of interest for you to follow in Investor Interest Signals. Simply type and select the fund(s) of interest.
