When creating a new form step, you can choose from numerous fields in the form editor.

This includes fields relevant to companies...

...and fields relevant to individuals.

To add a field to your form, just drag and drop the field onto your form in the middle of the screen.

If you want to change the position of the fields in the form, you can drag the field upwards or downwards on the form to change it's position.

Using the buttons on the right of the field, you can also duplicate or delete a field.

Input menu

To edit the fields content, after adding the field to the form, click on the field to open the Input menu on the right.

Content

Here you can edit the field label, insert a help text that will be shown below the field, and change the placeholder shown before the user inputs something into the field.

You can also choose if the field is pre-filled in case the data is already available and choose if the field is mandatory in order to proceed.

Validation

Using regex validation, you can validate the user input based on certain criteria and show an error message if the criteria are not met.

E.g. you can check if the user input in an email field is a valid email format

Here you can find common validation checks and step-by-step instructions how to set them up

Custom fields

You can also create your own fields. For that go to Custom fields in the left menu bar.

Now you can chose a field type and drag it onto your form. Once it is on your form your can use the Input menu on the left to adapt the field to your requirements.

Visual elements

To make the form more visually appealing, you can insert a Title, a plain text Paragraph, or a Divider.

Once on the form, you can edit the content using the menu on the right.

Layout

If you want to use a different layout then the one set in your Default Form Styling, you can adapt the layout for this specific form only.

For this go to layout on the left menu bar. Now you see your Default Form Styling. On the right, you can now change the Content and look of your welcome page.

Remember: All changes you make to the layout in a specific form step's settings are ONLY applied to this specific step
