At Sphere, we aim to support a wide range of businesses worldwide. However, due to regulatory requirements and compliance considerations, certain business categories are restricted from using our services.

This page provides an actively updated list of business types that we cannot serve. Our restricted categories are based on global financial regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, and Sphere’s internal risk assessment policies.

⚠️ Important Notes:

This list reflects our Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) policy, incorporating guidance from financial regulators, including the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Financial Action Task Force (FATF), and other international compliance standards.

If your business is not listed here, that does not guarantee approval. All businesses must undergo Know Your Business (KYB) verification before being approved for a Sphere account. Additional compliance checks may be required depending on the nature of your business.

Regulations evolve, and we update this list accordingly.
