We're happy to say that you can open a Sphere account as an individual or business in most countries of the world! Unfortunately, due to regulatory requirements, there are some restrictions, and we cannot support everyone. This page has an actively updated list of countries that we cannot support.
This list reflects our Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) policy, which combines guidance from international standards, including the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Sanctioned Countries.
Note: Applying as resident of a country not-listed here is a requirement but does not guarantee that you can open a Sphere account. All applicants must undergo KYB (Know Your Business) and/or KYC (Know Your Customer) verifications before opening an account. Applicants from some countries may require additional checks.
This list is updated based on evolving regulations and guidance.
