Detailed Steps:

  3. Use the OpenAI GPT-3 app in Zapier to generate a summary:

    • Prompt: "Summarize the following meeting transcript in 3-5 key points: [Transcript]"

    • Model: Choose appropriate GPT model (e.g., GPT-4o)

    • Max Tokens: Set an appropriate limit (e.g., 4000)

  4. Send the generated summary to a communication tool (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams):

    • Channel: Choose appropriate channel or user

    • Message: "GPT-generated summary for [Meeting Title]:\n[Generated Summary]"

Best Practices:

  1. Start Simple: Begin with basic Zaps and gradually build more complex workflows as you become familiar with the integration.

  2. Use Filters: Implement Zapier filters to trigger actions only for specific types of meetings or based on certain criteria (e.g., meetings longer than 30 minutes).

  3. Test Thoroughly: Always test your Zaps with sample data before activating them to ensure they work as expected.

  4. Monitor Usage: Keep an eye on your Zapier task usage to avoid hitting limits on your plan.

  5. Update Regularly: Periodically review and update your Zaps to ensure they align with your evolving workflow needs.

  6. Leverage Templates: Explore Zapier's template library for pre-built Spinach AI integrations to get started quickly.
