How do I run manual cleaning cycles?

You'll want to head on over to the maker tab in your Spinn App, then, select the drop-down menu in the upper right corner (right next to the bell icon πŸ””).

From there, you will select "Cleaning & Descaling".

Once you select the cycle, this will open up a step-by-step tutorial.

​Please note: If you are using a PRO Model with waterline, please be sure to manually fill the tank to the max line when prompted.

Cleaning cycles require manual actions of the user. For this, your coffee maker must be connected with the Spinn App. The steps to run a cleaning cycle are the following:

  1. Empty remaining water from the water tank

  2. Remove the Spinn water filter from the water tank

  3. Pour 1 dosage of Spinn Cleaning agent into the water tank

  4. Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water 5. Replace the water tank in the machine

  5. Empty the drip tray and put back into drip tray slot (15 seconds)

  6. Empty the residue bin and put back (15 seconds)

  7. Clean the water tank and replace the filter and fill with fresh water.

During cleaning cycles hot water will run from the coffee spout, so please be carefull!

***You can feel free to start the cleaning cycle with the steps above and then head out for school or work - but be aware that you will need to finish up the cycle upon your return before you can use your Spinn for brewing!***
