Spiral Breath+ is an iPhone app for breathing and meditation practice. You don't need an account, and you can start practising immediately after installing.

What you need

• An iPhone. The app is iPhone-only — iPad is not supported, and there is no Android version yet.

• No sign-up, no login, no password. There is no account system at all.

• No internet connection for practising.

Your first session

1. Open the app and choose an exercise from the preset list.

2. Tap Begin.

3. A five-second countdown starts ("Begin in 5…").

4. Follow the on-screen breathing guide through its phases: Inhale → Hold → Exhale → Hold.

5. The session ends with Anchoring — a quiet period at the end where your sigil forms.

6. Your sigil appears, then a Session Summary with your score.

If you leave the app during the five-second countdown, the countdown cancels. This is deliberate, so you never return to a session already in progress.

Your screen stays awake for the whole session.

The first-run walkthrough

New users are shown a short introduction, including a Practise Safely slide covering how to practise comfortably. You can read that guidance again at any time in About → Safety.

Where things live

The home menu has four entries:

• Archive — your past sessions and their sigils

• Journeys — multi-day programmes

• Breath Journal — Stats, Breath Map and Reflect

• About — subscription, safety, privacy, permissions and support

Free or Plus

You can use Spiral Breath+ without paying. The free plan includes 8 breathing exercises plus a fully-unlocked demo exercise, a 9-day guided journey, breath detection, scoring, and a sigil for every session. See What's Included in Free and Spiral Breath+ for the full comparison.
