Share Cards let you share Spiral Breath+ exercises with other people. To import an exercise from a Share Card, point your iPhone's built-in Camera at the QR code and tap the Spiral Breath+ notification that appears.
Sharing and QR import are available on the Free plan.
What a Share Card is
A Share Card is an image generated from a completed session or one of your custom exercises.
Depending on the exercise and session, the card can include information such as:
• Exercise name
• Breathing pattern
• Frequency
• Coherence label
• Sigil
• Affirmations
• Journey badge, where applicable
• QR code for importing the exercise
Share Cards are always shown in full colour, on both Free and Spiral Breath+.
How to share an exercise
From a completed session or one of your exercises, choose:
• Share — opens the standard iPhone share sheet so you can send the Share Card using an available app or service.
• Save to Photos — saves the Share Card image to your photo library.
How to import an exercise from a Share Card
Open the built-in Camera app on your iPhone.
Point the Camera at the QR code on the Share Card.
Tap the Spiral Breath+ notification that appears.
Spiral Breath+ opens and imports the exercise.
QR import works on the Free plan, subject to the one-custom-exercise Free limit.
Important: use the iPhone Camera
There is no QR scanner inside Spiral Breath+.
You also cannot import a Share Card QR code directly from a saved image in your photo library in this version.
Use your iPhone's built-in Camera app to scan the QR code.
Who can open a Share Card QR code?
In the current version, a Share Card QR code is designed for someone who already has Spiral Breath+ installed. Scan it with the iPhone Camera, then tap the notification to open Spiral Breath+ and import the exercise.
If the recipient does not have Spiral Breath+ installed, the QR code does not currently take them to the App Store.
What if the person I share it with doesn't have Spiral Breath+?
In the current version, the QR code is designed to open Spiral Breath+ when the app is already installed.
If the recipient does not have Spiral Breath+ installed, scanning the QR code does not take them to the App Store. They can install Spiral Breath+ separately and then scan the Share Card again.
What the QR code contains
The QR code contains the information needed to recreate the shared exercise, including:
• Exercise name
• Breathing pattern
• Number of cycles
• Anchoring time
• Frequency settings
• Colours
• Affirmations
• Glyph
The QR code does not contain your practice history, coherence scores, reflections, identity or breath audio.
If you're on Free and the shared exercise uses Plus features
You can still import the exercise.
Settings that require Spiral Breath+ are simplified to Free-compatible settings:
• Harmonic tones other than 528 Hz or 174 Hz are changed to 528 Hz
• Any infrasonic layer is removed
Spiral Breath+ will tell you that some Plus features were simplified.
If the import doesn't work
If you see:
“Import Failed — Could not read the shared exercise…”
The shared link or its exercise data could not be read correctly. Try scanning the original Share Card again.
“Import Failed — The QR code does not contain a valid exercise…”
The QR code does not contain a valid Spiral Breath+ exercise.
“Free Tier — 1 Saved Slot Full”
You already have a custom exercise saved on the Free plan.
Delete your existing custom exercise to make room, or upgrade to Spiral Breath+ for unlimited custom exercises.
If the imported exercise updates a custom exercise you already have rather than creating a new one, the update is allowed even when your Free slot is full.
Other ways to add an exercise
Manual Entry
Enter the exercise settings yourself.
Manual Entry is available on both plans and uses one of your custom exercise slots.
Paste
Paste an exercise received from an Architect platform.
Paste import requires Spiral Breath+.
Importing an exercise from a screenshot or saved QR image is not available in this version.
Can I share an entire Journey?
No. Share Cards transfer individual exercises, not complete Journeys.
If you want someone to recreate a Journey, you can share its individual exercises with them. Creating a custom Journey requires Spiral Breath+.
