Your Stats and Practice Stage

What every statistic on the Stats tab counts, how practice stages work, which milestones exist, and exactly what Reset Stats does.

Everything on the Stats tab is counted from your own completed sessions on this iPhone. Nothing is compared with anyone else.

The statistics

Sessions — completed sessions.

Total practice — time spent practising, in hours and minutes.

Avg session — your average session length.

Avg coherence — the average of your coherence scores, shown with a label.

The Avg coherence label uses the same wording as an individual session: Excellent, Strong, Good, Developing or Exploratory. See How Breath Lock and Coherence Work for what those mean.

Practice stages

Your stage is based on how many sessions you've completed, and nothing else. Not your scores, not your streak, not which exercises you chose.

Explorer — 1 to 9 sessions

Practitioner — 10 to 29 sessions

Harmonizer — 30 to 59 sessions

Resonant — 60 or more sessions

Underneath, the app shows how many sessions remain until the next stage.

A stage is a count of practice, not a judgement of quality. Someone at Resonant has practised more often than someone at Explorer. It says nothing about how well either of them breathes.

Milestones

Milestones appear once earned, and only earned ones are shown — an empty space isn't a fault.

10 Sessions — you've completed 10 sessions

30 Sessions — you've completed 30 sessions

7-Day Streak — you've practised 7 days in a row

30 Min Practice — your total practice time passes 30 minutes

1 Hour Practice — your total practice time passes 1 hour

Custom Pattern — you've completed a session using a custom exercise

There are no points, no levels to compete for and no leaderboards. Milestones are markers of your own practice.

Streaks

A streak counts consecutive days on which you completed at least one session. Miss a day and the current streak returns to zero — your total sessions, total time and stage are all unaffected.

Reset Stats

Reset Stats does not delete anything. It sets a starting point, so your statistics count from that moment forward. Your session archive is preserved, and your sigils and Breath Map history remain.

The app confirms this before it acts: "Reset your practice stats? Your session archive will be preserved."

The reset persists between app launches. To remove individual sessions instead, use Archive.
