How to Create an Entertainment-Only NCAAB Men’s Bracket Contest

An Entertainment-Only NCAAB Men’s Bracket Contest is a self-managed contest where you run the competition independently. This format is ideal for office pools, friend groups, or private leagues that prefer to handle payments outside of the platform.

Step 1: Log In to Your Splash Sports Account

Sign in to your Splash Sports account.

Once logged in, navigate to the Create A Contest tab to begin the setup process.

Step 2: Select the NCAAB Men’s Bracket Format

Within the contest creation flow:

  2. Select NCAAB Men’s Bracket from the available formats

This will open the bracket contest setup page.

Things to keep in mind:

The NCAAB Men’s Bracket format is offered only as a self-managed contest.

This means:

  • Splash Sports does not collect entry fees

  • Splash Sports does not distribute payouts

  • You are responsible for handling all payments outside the platform

No additional selection is required — the format is automatically configured as Entertainment-Only.

What “Entertainment-Only” Means

Entertainment-Only contests provide the tools to run your pool while leaving financial management in your hands.

With this setup:

  • You collect entry fees directly from participants

  • You distribute prizes yourself

  • Splash Sports manages brackets, scoring, standings, and updates

Once you complete the setup and publish your contest, you can invite participants to join and submit their brackets.

If you’re unsure whether a self-managed or platform-managed contest is right for your group, our support team is happy to help.
