How to Hide Future Picks As The Commissioner of an NCAAB Bracket

If you want to prevent yourself from viewing or editing members’ future picks, you can enable the Hide Future Picks From Admin setting.

Updated over a week ago

This helps maintain fairness and confidentiality by ensuring picks remain private until they are revealed by the contest timeline.

Where to Find This Setting

To hide future picks from admins:

  1. Open the Commissioner Console

  2. Navigate to Pool Settings

  3. Select Display Settings

  4. Enable Hide Future Picks From Admin

What This Setting Does

When enabled, this option prevents admins from seeing members’ future selections in key administrative areas, including:

  • Member Pick Maintenance (used for entering or changing picks)

  • Pick Log (used for viewing pick history)

This ensures commissioners cannot view unrevealed picks ahead of time.

Important Impact on Admin Capabilities

Turning this setting on will limit administrative control:

  • Admins will not be able to view future picks

  • Admins will not be able to edit those picks

  • Pick visibility will follow the contest’s reveal schedule

Use this option only if you are comfortable giving up the ability to manage future picks.

Audit Tracking

For transparency, any change to this setting is recorded.

  • An entry will be created in the Administrator Pick Modifications Report

  • The report will indicate that the setting was changed

  • This helps maintain accountability for administrative actions

When to Use This Setting

You may want to hide future picks if:

  • The commissioner is also participating in the contest

  • You want to ensure complete pick confidentiality

  • Your pool requires strict fairness controls

Enabling Hide Future Picks From Admin is a powerful way to protect pick privacy and ensure all participants compete on equal footing.
