Here at Spokesafe, we take security seriously. And we want to built trust between all members of our Community.

Which is why any member, visitor or contractor who enters a Spokesafe location has to have to their ID checked through an independent verification process.

Why is the ID Verification Check important?

All Spokesafe members rely on one another to keep our bikes safe. By completing this check, Spokesafe members can build up trust between one another, Spokesafe and themselves individually.

When you access a Spokesafe Hub, you can have peace of mind that every other member who has parked their bike alongside yours has had to go through the same check.

What is the ID Verification Check?

Our process runs through Stripe Identity - this means that we don't hold your personal information, but the information collected is encrypted and sent directly to Stripe to run through their checks.

Stripe will ask you for a form of government back ID (for example, a driving license or a passport) and will match this to a selfie that you take during the process.

Can I access a Spokesafe space without undergoing the ID Verification Check?

Nope. None of our team will allow anyone to access a space without first undergoing an ID Verification Check. It's simply not fair on all our other members who have completed this check to help keep all of our bikes safer.

I've tried passing the check but something keeps going wrong?!

Stripe, like us, are hot on their security. And sometimes, that accidentally excludes legitimate members. Contact us directly on the email address below and we can send out a new link, or operate a different check.
