2. How do I create a Bike Profile?
To create a Bike Profile, follow these steps:
Open our app and navigate to "Menu".
Select "My Profile" and click on "Bike Profiles"
Press the "+" to start a new profile.
Fill in the required details: nickname, bike type, make, model, color, and upload an image of your bike.
Save your profile.
3. Why should I add a Bike Profile?
Adding a Bike Profile helps us better manage our facility and provide enhanced services tailored to your specific bike type. Additionally, the information helps us generate statistics that we use to campaign for better cycling infrastructure.
4. Can I add multiple bikes to my profile?
Yes, you can add multiple bikes to your profile. Simply repeat the steps in the "How do I create a Bike Profile?" section for each bike you own.
5. What types of bikes can I add to my profile?
You can add various types of bikes, including eBikes, cargo bikes, push bikes, folding bikes, and more.
6. How do I edit or update my Bike Profile?
To edit or update your Bike Profile, navigate to the "Bike Profiles" section in your account settings, select the bike you want to update and press the gear icon on the top right. Once you have made the necessary changes, save the updates by pressing "Edit bike" at the bottom of the page.
7. Can I delete a bike from my profile?
Yes, you can delete a bike from your profile. Go to the "Bike Profiles" section, select the bike you want to remove, and click on the "Delete" button.
8. How will my Bike Profile information be used?
Your Bike Profile information will be used to enhance our facility management and provide better services to you. Additionally, aggregated data will be used to generate statistics for advocating improved cycling infrastructure.
9. Do I have to add a Bike Profile to use the facility?
Yes, adding a Bike Profile is a must before using any facility on the network.
10. What kind of image should I upload for my Bike Profile?
You should upload a clear image of your bike that shows its make, model, and color. This helps us accurately identify and manage your bike within our facility.
11. Why do I have to add a frame number?
Your bike's frame number is your unique identifier (a bit like a car's registration number). If the worst happens, and your bike is stolen, if the police recover it they will use the frame number to identify you as the owner. Not enough of us know our bike frame number, so adding it here is a great way to ensure your bike will remain yours.
