Claiming a profile links a player on a team roster to you, so your stats, trophies and achievements show up on your Home dashboard in the SportsVisio app. You can claim during first-run setup, or any time from a player's profile.
Before you start
You must be in the Player role to claim or unclaim. If you try while in another role you'll see: "You must first switch to Player role to claim or unclaim players." Change your role in Account â Choose my role.
A profile someone has already claimed shows a Claimed badge.
Claim during onboarding
When you first set up the app, the Claim Your Profile step shows a division dropdown and a team roster. Pick your division, then tap your jersey to claim it. Profiles that are already taken show a Claimed badge and can't be tapped. See Getting started: first-run setup for the full walkthrough.
Claim from a player profile
Open the player's profile (for example from Explore search or a team's Players tab).
Tap the three-dot menu in the top corner.
Tap Claim Profile.
On "Would you like to claim this profile?", tap Claim.
Unclaim a profile
Open your claimed player profile.
Tap the three-dot menu and tap Unclaim profile.
On "Are you sure you want to cancel your profile claim?", confirm.
Remember you must be in the Player role to do this.
The profile is claimed by someone else
If the profile you want is already claimed, or claimed by the wrong person, use the Report option from the three-dot menu. Two reasons are meant for exactly this:
"I want to claim this profile": when you believe the profile is yours.
"I am not the owner of this profile": when a profile claimed under your name isn't actually you.
Our team reviews these reports and sorts out ownership.
Why can't I claim?
You're not in the Player role, switch via Account â Choose my role.
The jersey or profile already shows a Claimed badge. Use the Report path above instead.
