Activating the card:

You can activate the card through the Spriggy app: 

  • Download the Spriggy app.
  • Sign into your account using your mobile number or email and password 

Note* You will need to use the mobile or email you signed up with on our website. 

  • Tap ‘Settings’ at the top right of the home screen
  • Tap ‘Complete Setup’ (% at the top of the screen).
  • Tap ‘Activate Card’.
  • Enter the last 4-digits of the card.

Once the card has been activated it will be ready for funds to be added to it and to make purchases!

Parent wallet:

Everything is controlled by the Parent Wallet. You can top-up your parent wallet at anytime within the app via a linked payment method - debit card or bank account.

Debit card transfers take 10 minutes or linking a bank account will take 4 business days. 

Once the parent wallet has funds:

  1. Tap the blue circular parent wallet
  2. Tap "add money to card". Transfers from the parent wallet to the kid's card are almost instant ~ 30 seconds at anytime in the app.

Scheduled top-ups and pocket-money:

First things first, you will need to know the difference between a scheduled top-up and pocket money.

Scheduled top-up: External account > parent wallet

Pocket money schedule: parent wallet > pocket money account

Scheduled top-ups:

  1. Log in as the Parent
  2. Tap 'Settings' in the top right of the screen
  3. Tap 'Parent Wallet Details'
  4. Tap 'Set up scheduled top ups'
  5. Set the amount to transfer, starting date and weekly/fortnightly frequency
  6. Tap 'Save' to complete


  1. Log in as the Parent
  2. Go into the child's account that you would like to set-up the schedule for. You can identify this by their name (and photo) on top.
  3. Click pocket money schedule (It's the green tab)
  4. Click the light green tab and fill in the details
  5. Choose weekly or fortnightly
  6. You can also choose to send it to the card - where it can be spent right away or to savings, where your child can decide whether he'd like it to stay there or be transferred to his card, which he can spend.
  7. Set the date on when you'd like the transfers to start.
  8. Set the amount.
  9. Click "Save settings"

If you wish to set up a pocket money schedule, please be aware that there has to be available funds in the parent wallet at the time.
