Absolutely. We take safety and security very seriously - so we've built Spriggy with your family’s protection top of mind. We use bank-level encryption for the storage of your bank details and never expose the details for view in the app. Once your money is loaded onto Spriggy, it is held by an Authorised Deposit-taking Institution, Indue Ltd (ABN 97 087 822 464). All payments are processed by IntegraPay Pty Ltd (ABN 63 135 196 397) who maintain PCI DSS Level 1 compliance, the highest level of certification for handling card payments and information. Finally, your family’s information is stored with enterprise-level RSA encryption and we never sell information to third-parties.

We have developed a card which has a number of features designed to make spending as safe as possible for young people, under 18 years old.

  • 100% transparency: Parents have 100% transparency and real-time visibility of spending through the app, allowing them to monitor transactions at all times.
  • No overdrafts: Children can only spend the money that’s been loaded onto their Spriggy card. It’s not a credit card.
  • Simple card locking: If a Spriggy Card is lost or stolen, both children and their parents can lock their card directly in the app to block all purchases. It’s just as simple to unlock the card later if it’s found again.
