What is the cut-off time for orders ? 

Officially, the cut-off time for placing, changing and cancelling your orders on the day of your order is 9am. 

However, in some circumstances, we understand that it can be difficult to cancel your order before these times. 

In these situations please drop us a message and we will do our best to contact the canteen directly to see if we can cancel your order! You can send us a message by tapping the orange icon in the bottom corner of your screen 😊

How do recess & lunch on the app align with the first and final breaks? 

If you are placing an order for your child to eat during the first break, order under lunch in the Cashless app

If you are placing an order for your child to eat during the final break, order under recess in the Cashless app.

How do I know if my order has been successfully processed?

You will be sent a confirmation email once an order has been successfully processed. Alternatively, you can check the 'Order History' screen to see if the payment was successful and the order was processed.

I accidentally ordered for recess instead of lunch, how do I change this?

On the 'Orders' screen there are two rows under the school week; the top one is for placing recess orders and the bottom one is for placing lunch orders. 

If you have accidentally ordered your child's lunch for recess or vice-versa, you can simply cancel and then place the order again under the correct meal time. You can always do this anytime before the 9am cut-off.

How are the orders delivered ? 

Orders are delivered to your child's classroom. Please ensure that your child's class is correct in their profile on the app so that their order is delivered to the correct classroom!

What if my child has a food allergy?

If your child has any food allergies, please inform your school directly so they can pass on this information to the canteen.

This procedure ensures that both the school and the canteen are fully aware of your child’s allergies at all times, and can ensure your child receives food and drinks that are safe for them to consume.

What about cold items? 

If you order any cold items from the 'Iceblocks' section of the menu, your child will need to pick them up at the canteen. The canteen will normally leave a note on the order bag to remind your child to do so.

All other cold items will be delivered to the classroom in the order bag.  

What happens if my child does not get their order?  

Should your order with us be missed or if there is a problem on the canteen’s end, your child can go up to the canteen and let them know and they will provide your child with lunch. All schools that use our service are committed with us to make sure that each child has access to lunch.

While this really shouldn’t happen, if it ever were the case that your child does not get their lunch, we encourage you to get in touch with us immediately so that we can rectify the situation as quickly as possible. 

You can do this by clicking the messenger icon in the bottom right corner of your screen.

Does the canteen still accept cash? 

Yes, your child can still pay with cash depending on the food item and the time they are ordering. 

Before 9am, your child can place a normal lunch or recess order with cash.  

During recess or lunch, your child can pay with cash for some items such as snacks, fruit or drinks.
