Sometimes there are special or unique details about your clients that you want to keep track of. This can be anything from their birth date, pet's names, and anniversary date, amongst these you are able to create Custom Contact Fields which can then be attached as an input field to any client.
How to create and edit a custom contact field
You can add a new contact field in two different ways:
Directly from within a contact by clicking the kabab menu "three dots" button. Next, you will need to click "edit" and at the bottom, you will see "Add Contact Info".
Go to Settings > Account > Metadata > Contact Fields and click the pencil to edit.
When adding/editing a contact field in settings, you can assign a colour to that field, and rearrange the order they are listed so those fields you use most often are at the top of the custom list.
