How to add, edit, delete and change the visibility of a note or file for a lead or shoot

You can add as many Notes and upload as many Files to a lead or shoot as you'd like. Adding a note is a great way to document conversations, record meeting notes and keep track of details that you collect throughout the journey with your clients.

Uploading a file is a great way to organize permits, previously signed contracts and any other type of document you'd need to keep track of for a Lead or Shoot.

Individual notes and files can be made private so only you can see them, or they can be made public so your client can see them in their portal.

How to add a note for a Lead or Shoot

  1. Go to the Lead or Shoot > Documents page and click the "Add New" button at the top of the page, and click the "New Note" button.

  1. Go to the Lead or Shoot > Documents page and click the "Add New" button at the top of the page, and click the "Upload File" button.

  1. Go to the Lead or Shoot > Documents page, click the "Add New" button at the top of the page, and click the "Add Link" button.

How to view, edit and delete a note for a Lead or Shoot

You can view all notes for a lead or shoot on the Lead or Shoot > Documents page.

To view the contents of a note, click on its name, or click the kebab menu and then the "Edit" button. To delete a note, click on the "Trash" button from the kebab menu.

To toggle the visibility of a note (whether it's viewable by your client or not), click the kebab menu and then the "Show on Portal" button.

How to view, edit and delete a file for a Lead or Shoot

You can view all files for a lead or shoot on the Lead or Shoot > Documents page.

To rename a file, click on its name. Click the kebab menu and the "Download" button to download a file. Click the "Delete" button from the kebab menu to delete a file.

To toggle the visibility of a file (whether it's viewable by your client or not), toggle the "Visibility" from the kebab menu.
