If you had a Health Savings Account (HSA), it will remain with WEX and continue to be managed by them even after separation.
Please be sure to log into your WEX account and update your email address to your personal email so that you will continue to receive communications from WEX, no further action is needed. You will be able to continue using your available balance.
Flexible Spending Accounts ( FSA)
If participating in a Health FSA or Limited FSA you may submit for reimbursement eligible FSA expenses incurred through the date of termination. In certain situations, you may be able to continue FSA contributions with Wex by enrolling in COBRA, depending on account balance and year-to-date contributions.
If you participate in a Dependent Care FSA, you can submit for reimbursement for eligible dependent care expenses incurred through the date of termination. There is no opportunity to continue contributing towards the Dependent Care FSA through COBRA.
