How long will my benefits stay active after I terminate employment?

  • All health benefits you are currently enrolled in (medical, dental, & vision) will remain active through the last day of the month in which you are employed.

  • For example, if your last day of employment is January 20th, your benefits will continue through January 31st.

  • If you have a FSA account, your card will be deactivated immediately, but you can continue to submit claims for reimbursement on expenses incurred during the plan year, prior to your termination.

  • You will be offered COBRA and can choose to continue your coverage through your current plan, including the FSA.
