If you participated in the MetLife Accident Indemnity, Critical Illness, or Accident Plan, you will be offered portability to maintain those voluntary ancillary policies.
These voluntary policies will terminate at the end of the month after termination, and you will have 30 days to initiate portability with MetLife through the Transition Solutions team.
Metlife's Transition Solutions team will send a portability packet to your home address via USPS mail. Someone from Barnum Financial will also reach out via phone to assist with any questions you may have about plan portability.
You may submit outstanding claims via the MetLife portal for anything incurred prior to the last date of coverage.
