SquareOne cards can be used both in-store and online.
Shopping in-store with SquareOne
When you use your card in-store you can either tap the card on the terminal to perform a contactless (payWave) transaction or insert the card and use your PIN.
Note: you must insert your card and use PIN for the first transaction. This is to make sure your card has arrived safely and you are the one using it.
If you're using contactless then you don't need to use a PIN if the transaction is below $200. For transactions over $200 you can still tap, but you'll need to enter a PIN too.
If you insert your card, you need to press 'Credit' before entering your PIN. Don't worry though, SquareOne isn't a credit card and you can never spend money you don't have, this is just the button that will send the prepaid card over the Mastercard network.
Shopping online with SquareOne
You can use your SquareOne card to shop online. There are no card details on the card to keep your kids safe, but you can find them by tapping 'Card details' in kids view (or tapping the card controls button on your kid's virtual card on your parent homescreen).
Just enter the card details online and you're done...simple.
