Some businesses (hotels, gas stations like Gull, etc) hold a pre-auth amount at the start. Sometimes these transactions stay on your account for a while before they’re dropped off.
To also avoid having your transaction declined at the petrol pump, we recommend customers to avoid using ‘Fill’ or putting a max amount that is greater than your card balance.
