How To Guide: Clear Cookies, Cache, and Browser data on PC/Mac

  1. Google Chrome (PC/MAC)

    1. Clear Cookies, Cache, and Browser Data

      1. Open Chrome.

      2. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

      3. Select Settings.

      4. Navigate to Privacy and Security in the left-hand menu.

      5. Click Clear browsing data.

      6. Under Time range, select All time.

      7. Check the boxes for:

        1. Browsing history

        2. Cookies and other site data

        3. Cached images and files

      8. Click Clear data.

      9. Close the Browser.

    2. Update Chrome

      1. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

      2. Go to Help > About Google Chrome.

      3. Chrome will automatically check for updates. If an update is available, click Update.

      4. Restart Chrome

  2. Safari (MAC Only)

    1. Clear Cookies, Cache, and Browser Data

      1. Open Safari.

      2. In the menu bar, click Safari > Preferences.

      3. Go to the Privacy tab.

      4. Click Manage Website Data.

      5. Click Remove All to delete cookies and cache for all websites.

      6. Confirm by clicking Remove Now.

      7. Close the Browser.

    2. Update Safari

      1. Open the Apple Menu and go to System Preferences.

      2. Click Software Update.

      3. If a Safari update is available, click Update Now.

  3. Microsoft Edge (PC/MAC)

    1. Clear Cookies, Cache, and Browser Data

      1. Open Edge.

      2. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

      3. Select Settings.

      4. Navigate to Privacy, search, and services in the left-hand menu.

      5. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.

      6. Set the Time range to All time.

      7. Check the boxes for:

        1. Browsing history

        2. Download history

        3. Cookies and other site data

        4. Cached images and files. Click Clear now.

        5. Close the Browser.

    2. Update Edge

      1. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

      2. Go to Help and feedback > About Microsoft Edge.

      3. Edge will automatically check for updates. If an update is available, it will start downloading.

      4. Restart Edge.
