Navigate to the Distribution Deal Expenses file saved earlier
Open the file
The following information belongs in the fields
Deal ID: This is the Distribution deal ID that the expense needs to be tied to. It can be found on the deal.
Alternate Deal ID: Can be found in the Alt ID field on the deal. This field is optional if you have the Deal ID field of the template filled out
Expense Date: The date of the expense charge It must be in DD/MM/YYY Format
Expense type: What variety of expense is it? Some suggestions can be found in the screenshot below
Description: Other descriptive information needed for the expense
Company: Who/What charged the expense (Optional)
Reference: Any internal reference numbers related to this expense (Optional)
Amount: The amount of the expense
Save and Close the Distribution Deal Expenses Template
Once the template is filled out, save and close the file.
Import the Distribution Deal Expenses Template
Initiate Distribution Deal Expenses Template Import
From The Import Menu
From Distribution Deal Expenses
Import data
In the window that pops up click import expenses
Navigate to the file that you previously saved
Click open
All of the expenses in the sheet will be imported into this table
Map and Activate Distribution Deal Expenses
SR1 will automatically analyze the data and find matches. A green dot will appear next to anything that found a match. You can click activate all at the top of the screen to assign all the matched expenses to their deals to be included in statements and royalty reporting.
For any red dots, you can resolve errors by making changes in this window then use the golden arrows in the upper left corner to match. Then click activate. Repeat until all errors are resolved.
