How to Sign a Document
Updated over a year ago

It is possible for an Individual (client) and/or Worker to sign a Document using their mouse, stylus or finger (depending on browser/operating system compatibility) in Penelope.

Follow the steps below to sign a completed document:

  1. Navigate to the Document you wish to complete.

  2. Complete the Document fields as required and click next.

  3. Check Lock Revision.

  4. Enter the clients/Workers name in the relevant field.

  5. Enter a Date.

  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each additional signature.

  7. Click Finish.

  8. Scroll down the page and click Sign.

  9. Sign using your mouse, stylus or finger.

  10. Click accept.

  11. Repeat steps 8, 9 and 10 for each additional signature.

  12. Click Lock if required (this will lock the Document permanently e.g. you will not be able to delete or edit).

NOTE: Generally, some pens/tablets might work with Penelope but it must be able to act like a mouse. For example, if you can't double click an icon on the desktop with it, you can't use it with Penelope. Even so, this is not a guarantee that it will work with Penelope. Please test it before you buy. We are unable to suggest any brand or device for use. Purchase at your own risk.
