As your campaign moves forward, it’s natural to wonder where each influencer stands in their journey; from signing up to posting content. To help you stay in the loop, we provide real-time updates on influencer activity in your Campaign Dashboard under the ‘Influencers’ tab. There, you’ll find the Instagram handle of each participating influencer, along with a status that shows where they are in the campaign lifecycle.
Below is a quick guide to what each status means:
Purchased
The influencer has clicked the purchase link for your product. This status reflects purchase intent and is tracked through link clicks. Once influencers sign up, this is their expected next step. We regularly follow up with them to encourage timely purchases.
The figure shown on your dashboard is an estimate based on the number of link clicks received and is not always 100% accurate. If you've provided an Amazon attribution link, that will serve as your source of truth for tracking actual sales.
What if the estimated purchases don’t match my Amazon attribution link data?
There are a few reasons why the attribution link data may differ from the estimated purchase figure on your dashboard. As a reminder, the dashboard number is an estimate based on link clicks, not actual sales, since our system isn’t connected to Amazon Seller Central.
If your attribution data shows fewer sales that the dashboard estimate, it could also be due to a slight delay in Amazon’s reporting, which may take some time to fully populate and reflect accurate results.
Done
The influencer has successfully completed and submitted their qualifying Instagram post.
Once in this stage, they’ve likely already received their product reimbursement or will be receiving it shortly.
Followed Up
The influencer has clicked the link to leave a product review. While reviews are not required as part of the campaign, we do invite and follow up with influencers to share one after they post. This status is based on link click estimates and signals strong intent to leave a review. In many cases, those who appear in this status will have submitted a review.
At the top of the dashboard, you’ll also see a summary of how many influencers are in each stage. This gives you a high-level view of your campaign’s progress.
If you have questions about any of the statuses or need help interpreting your dashboard, feel free to reach out to your account manager.
