TicketSwap + Subscribers link + extra search option

Meer dan een week geleden bijgewerkt

The last months we have been doing a lot of maintenance work to keep Stager up-to-date with the modern world. Less fun for you but we've got to do it.. We've also added some new features though :) Keep on reading!

TL;DR

  • TicketSwap is integrated with Stager via Secure Swap. With Secure Swap the seller’s original ticket is made invalid and the buyer receives a completely new and unique ticket. This way resold tickets are 100% safe.

  • Your subscribers can log in to your ticketshop and buy multiple subscription tickets at once. Use the following link: https://[organization].stager.co/web/tickets/subscribers

  • When looking for relations who bought a ticket in a certain time span, use the new field Tickets bought between in the Search Advanced screen.

  • Report Sales (Tickets) contains more info like relation e-mail address.

  • Minor changes in Stager app

TicketSwap

Maybe you've already noticed our TicketSwap integration in Admin - Integrations. This integration creates an active check when people want to resell tickets. When they offer a ticket on TicketSwap, Stager checks if this is a valid ticket and for what price it has been sold. When someone buys this ticket, the old barcode is blocked, a new unique barcode is generated and TicketSwap sends this new ticket to the latest ticket buyer. TicketSwap also makes sure you can’t sell a ticket for more than 20% on top of the original price.

This integration can be disabled. When disabled, visitors can still resell tickets via TicketSwap by uploading a ticket barcode, but then it’s not guaranteed that the ticket is 100% safe.

Subscribers (Ticketing Deluxe/Cool/Awesome plan), who are able to buy or download subscription tickets, could already log in via subscribers only link for specific events.

From now on you can also use a dedicated subscribers link for the all events ticketshop, just add ‘/subscribers’ to the ticketshop link. When a subscriber logs in, he/she can directly buy subscriber only tickets for multiple events in one go.

Extra field in ‘Search Advanced’

Do you want to contact or find visitors who bought a ticket in a certain period of time? Yes, you can! Go to Relations - Search Advanced - Attendance - Tickets bought and enter a date range. Find all visitors who bought a ticket in that date range.

Textual changes

We’ve made some minor text changes to clarify certain situations.

  • In the ticketshop: when there are no tickets on sale. The general text could be confusing and some believed that an event was sold out when there were no tickets on sale online. We’ve changed it to:

  • ‘Het is nu niet mogelijk om online tickets te kopen voor dit evenement.’

  • ‘At this moment it's not possible to buy tickets online for this event.’

  • In the ticket email: more general text which also fits when someone receives a guest ticket. It now states:

  • ‘Leuk dat je komt! Je kan nu je ticket(s) downloaden via onderstaande knop. Heel veel plezier bij het evenement!’

  • ‘Great to have you! You may download your ticket(s) by clicking on the button below. Have a lot of fun at the event!’.

You can still replace the Dutch text with your own personal text.

Improvements

  • Small improvements in text and design in our guest list importer.

  • Added extra info in Sales (Tickets) Report;

  • email address of relation

  • relation ID that can be found in the URL when opening a relation

  • We’ve added an extra layer to Google Tag Manager to track conversion better.

  • When there are more than 250 guests on the guest list, the Stager app will show a search field instead of a very long list, so you can find and check in your guest quicker.

Bug fixes

  • Order limit of promo tickets didn’t always respect the order limit.

  • Deleted events were in some situations still visible in some reports.

  • The button ‘Reserve’ disappeared.

  • There was no chronological order in scan times in the ticket management.

  • When importing relation in a wrong way, the error message stating the problem was empty.

  • When embedding the minimal ticketshop, Stager now gives the correct height of the iFrame via the window.postMessage API.

  • Floating button in guest list in the Stager app is not floating anymore.
