Written by Tyler Hancock

StakeKings offers different package types to accommodate both players and backers.

Premium Packages

Premium packages are designed to offer more controlled markup for backers.

  • Markup is generally limited to 1.00–1.15.

  • A 1% - 5% buyer fee generally applies to these packages.

  • The fee is displayed as part of the purchase price.

Regular Packages

Regular packages may have different markup arrangements, with applicable platform fees handled according to the package type.

Example

A $100 stake at 1.00 markup in a Premium package with a 5% buyer fee costs $105.

A $100 stake at 1.30 markup in a Regular package costs $130 before any other applicable charges.

Which Package Is Better?

Compare the total purchase price, markup, fees, player, and event before making a decision.

A Premium package may offer a lower total cost, but no package guarantees a positive return.
