On StakeKings.com, we only allow televised or live streamed cash game packages to make sure that all results can be reviewed and tracked. StakeKings.com pros are encouraged to sell for the maximum amount of funds that they may use throughout the cash game. This amount can consist of multiple “bullets” or “reloads”, for example if a player is selling a cash game package for $10,000 - they could have 2x $5,000 bullets. This is done to make sure that backers always have a piece of the action even if the player loses their 1st bullet in the cash game.

What does this mean for backers?

Any funds that don’t reach the table are refunded in full. This includes the premium fee paid for our premium cash game packages. For example, if a pro sells a cash game package for $10,000, and they only end up buying in for $5,000, backers will automatically receive a 50% refund on their stake and premium fee when applicable. The remaining funds would be classified as “winnings”, and the backers would receive the % they staked on the remaining sum. Please review the example below for more clarity.

In this hypothetical situation, a backer staked $1,000 for 10% of a $10,000 cash game package. The pro buys in initially with $5,000, and proceeds to profit $45,000 for a grand total of $50,000. The backer would receive a 50% refund($500) on their stake since the pro only bought in with half of the package amount($5,000). They would then receive 10% of the total remaining sum, which is $50,000 in this example. The sum = initial buy-in($5,000) + profit($45,000).

Backer staked: $1,000

Total winnings received: $5,000.

Total refunds received: $500

Total returned: $5,500

Net Profit: $4,500(10% of the pro’s profits).
