How Does Multi-Day Tournament Staking Work?

Learn how multi-day poker tournament staking works on StakeKings, including Day 1 flights, advancing to Day 2, multiple entries, tournament packages, refunds, and how winnings are calculated and distributed to backers.

Written by Tyler Hancock

Multi-day tournament staking allows backers to purchase action in poker events that take place over multiple days, such as tournaments with separate starting flights and a final day.

StakeKings supports staking packages for eligible multi-day tournaments.

How Does It Work?

  1. A player creates a package for an eligible multi-day tournament.

  2. Backers purchase a percentage of the player's action.

  3. The player competes in the tournament according to the package terms.

  4. If the player advances, their action continues into subsequent days.

  5. After the player's tournament participation ends, results are verified and the package is settled.

What If the Player Advances to Day 2?

If the player advances from Day 1 to Day 2, their tournament action continues under the applicable package terms.

Backers retain their purchased percentage of the eligible action covered by the package.

What If the Player Enters Multiple Flights?

Some tournaments allow players to enter multiple starting flights or re-enter after elimination.

Whether those additional entries are included depends on the package's specified number of entries, bullets, and other terms.

What Happens to Unused Entries?

Unused entries or buy-ins are handled according to the package terms, including any applicable refunds or fee adjustments.

When Will I Receive My Returns?

Eligible winnings and refunds are processed after the applicable tournament results and package details are confirmed.

Important: Always review which flights, entries, and tournament days are included before purchasing action.
