1) πŸ” Secret Recovery Phrase Generation

  • Sign in with an email of your choice and request your smart wallet.

  • A list of 24 words will be presented in a specific order only once! Never take a picture or a snapshot of these 24 words. Be sure to write down the exact words in the exact same order on paper. You will only see the 24 words once, at this particular time. Proceed with care and take your time double checking the words.

2) βœ… Secret Recovery Phrase Verification

  • Safely store your 24 words once you complete your smart wallet request. Make sure to re-type the twenty four words in the right order as presented the first time.

  • Having multiple copies, on paper or digital (hardware wallet) of your secret words is suggested for redundancy, just in case you lose or misplace the first copy. Without your secret words you will never be able to recover your account if needed.

  • Do not share your 24 secret words ever, with anyone. The 24 secret words, represent access to your digital wallet. No Staker app employee will ever contact you for your 24 secret words. No support person should ever request your 24 secret words for any reason. You are the only person that can compromise your smart wallet security.

  • For further security, from the home menu go to Staker app settings and turn on biometric authentication if your device supports it.

3) πŸ’³ Pay for your Smart Wallet

  • Pay with in-app payment (Apple Pay or Google Pay) to get your smart wallet.

  • Once your payment has been received, your smart wallet will usually be activated within 15-20 minutes. However, sometimes it can take a up to 48h, so please be patient. It will be activated as soon as possible.

  • Next, go to Step 3/4 => Funding
