Using Sentry Persistence

Sentry Persistence consistently monitors Sentry Mode status and re-enables Sentry Mode if it is disabled.

Sentry Persistence is a Standard Fleet feature that prevents renters or other drivers from disabling Sentry Mode, by monitoring Sentry status and turning it back on automatically if it is turned off. Sentry Persistence works regardless of if Sentry Mode is disabled via in-vehicle settings or through the Tesla app.

You can enable and disable Sentry Persistence for your vehicle in the web dashboard by:

  1. Clicking on a vehicle in your fleet to expand vehicle details and controls

  2. Enable or Disable Sentry Persistence by clicking on the button

You can enable and disable Sentry Persistence for your vehicle in the Standard Fleet App by:

  1. Clicking on your vehicle to expand the details page

  2. Scrolling to the bottom and selecting "Security Settings"

  3. Toggle on or off the switch for Sentry Persistence
