You can currently add Standard Fleet (SF) fleet keys to your Tesla vehicles via two methods:

Standard Fleet iOS App

The Standard Fleet iOS app can automatically pair fleet keys to your vehicles using Bluetooth. This does require you to enable Bluetooth permissions for the Standard Fleet app, as shown in the image below.

Once enabled, the iOS app can automatically add a fleet key as soon as you bring your iOS device within Bluetooth range of any of your Tesla vehicles.

The owner accounts for the vehicles will receive a notification from Tesla that a key has been added to their vehicle like the one below.

Authorization through Tesla App

Following this method, you can add SF fleet keys to your fleet vehicles without being in Bluetooth proximity of the vehicle.

Step 1: Grab a Phone with the Tesla App Installed

Make sure you have a phone with the Tesla app already installed. This will be the device you use to add the fleet key to your vehicles.

Step 2: Open the Link in Your Favorite Web Browser

Open the following link in your favorite web browser on the phone with the Tesla app: https://tesla.com/_ak/app.standardfleet.com. This will take you to the setup page for our fleet key.

Step 3: Sign In to Your Tesla App

Open the Tesla app and make sure it is signed in to the account that owns the vehicles you’d like to setup.

To verify that you own the vehicle you want to set up, go to the Security tab in the Tesla app. It should show “Security & Drivers” for the vehicle you want to set up.

Step 4: Select the Vehicle You Want to Set Up

Swipe over to, or select, the vehicle you want to set up with the virtual key. This will ensure that the virtual key is only accessible for the specific vehicle you want.

Step 5: Click “Finish Setup”

Go back to the web browser and click “Finish Setup” on the page. This will prompt the Tesla app to open and ask for permission to add app.standardfleet.com as a key.

If nothing appears after the Tesla app opens, force close the app and click “Finish Setup” again.

Step 6: Repeat for Other Vehicles

If you have multiple Tesla vehicles, repeat steps 4 and 5 for each vehicle you want to set up with the virtual key.

Congratulations, you have successfully set up Standard Fleet fleet keys for your Tesla vehicles! You can now access and manage your vehicles through Standard Fleet with ease.
