FAQ

Why is my Claude Desktop slowing down?

Claude Desktop can slow down after conversations with lots of tool calls. Start a new chat to speed up the system.

What should I ask?

  • “Show me a summary of my entire portfolio performance.”

  • “What are the key metrics for Acme Corp over the last 12 months?”

  • “Compare the revenue growth of all my SaaS companies.”

  • “Create a financial summary for company AirChair including burn rate and runway."

How is our firm data processed and/or retained?

With MCP, we allow users to pull out data from SM according to their permissions. The LLM client itself however may retain/train on your data depending on your account configuration with that provider.

Can I connect with other LLM clients?

Our API docs lay out how our remotely hosted MCP can be used in other LLM clients: https://docs.standardmetrics.io/guides/mcp-setup. Some LLM clients like ChatGPT require additional tools that are not yet supported.
