Investor Reports are a streamlined way to update your investors on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, depending on your reporting cadence. You can fill out an information request either manually or through integrations. Sharing a step by step on how to navigate this process below.

1) In the left hand navigation, select the Investor Reports tab. This is where you'll be able to view current and past information requests sent by your investors.

2) In the Investor Reports tab, you will be directed to a view of your past and current reports. Reports marked "Sent" indicate a report has been sent by an investor, and reports marked "New" indicate that a report requested by investors is currently empty. Reports marked "In Progress" or "Partially completed" are considered incomplete. Complete reports are marked "Completed" or "Marked as Complete".'

3) Once you click into an individual report, you'll see the details of the request. The below view represents the metrics being requested by your investor. If you've chosen to integrate your accounting system, some fields may auto-populate. You still have the ability to override the auto-populated metrics by simply entering updated data into the cells.

4) For financial statements and other documents, you can click "upload" or drag and drop requested documents (e.g. balance sheet, cash flow statement, P&L, etc.) into the boxes.

5) Once complete, submit the data to your investor either through manual submission or auto submission.

Auto-Submit vs. Manual-Submit: When you onboard, you are defaulted to Manual Submit (you decide when to publish information to investors) and must click the 'Submit' button to complete the report. However, you have the option to switch to auto-submission, where you can skip this step of pressing "submit" as your information will be automatically pushed to your investors while filling out the report.

Manual-Submit:

Auto-Submit:

6) Once you're finished entering in all requested metrics you'll be able to share with other investors as well by clicking the 'Share with other investors' button.
