New product
Control what happens when new products are added to your store.
Manually enable for each product — new products are added in a disabled state by default. You will need to go into each product in the Manage product media page and enable the app manually once you have arranged the images.
Automatically enable for new products — new products are added in an enabled state by default. The app will be active on new products as soon as they are added to your store.
Hide featured image
A featured image is the primary product image shown on collection pages and product listings across your store.
Because the app places common media at the beginning of the product media section, the first common image becomes the featured image by default. If you want to use a specific image as the featured image without having it appear again inside the product gallery, enable this setting.
Hide featured image on product page
When this toggle is enabled, the first image in the Common media section will be used only as the featured image on collection pages and product listings. It will not appear inside the product gallery on the product page itself.

Quick view popup
Some Shopify themes include a quick view option on the collection page, allowing customers to preview a product without leaving the page.
Configure app for quick view
If your theme includes a quick view popup and you want the app to filter variant images inside it, raise a request with our support team and we will enable this for your store.
Featured product section
Some Shopify themes include a featured product section on the home page or other pages, showcasing selected products.
Configure app for featured products If your theme includes a featured product section and you want variant-specific image filtering to work in that section, raise a request with our support team and we will enable this for your store.
Variant image thumbnails
A thumbnail section displays a list of images associated with the selected variant below or beside the main gallery image.
Remove single thumbnail
If a variant has only one image, the thumbnail section may appear unnecessary and take up space in the gallery. Enabling this setting removes the thumbnail section when a variant has only one image. Note that this could create an inconsistent experience when switching between single-image and multi-image variants. If you would like this enabled for your store, raise a request with our support team.
Show video first
Move video to first position
When this toggle is enabled, the variant's video will be displayed in the first position in the gallery, followed by the other images. This ensures the video appears as the primary media when a customer selects a variant that has a video.
Initial product image
Control which images are displayed when a visitor lands on a product page without a variant-specific URL — for example, when they click through from a collection page or arrive via a direct product link.
Available options:
Default behavior — most themes show the images of the first available variant
Show only the featured images — displays only the first image of the product
Show all common images — displays all product images that are not linked to any variant
Common images except featured image — displays only common product images except for the first image
Share online store password
If your Shopify store is password protected, you can share your store password with the StarApps support team here. This allows the team to access your storefront and provide better support when troubleshooting issues.
