Subscriptions are a great way to provide customers with a flexible, convenient, and cost-effective solution for their laundry needs. This guide will walk you through the steps to create and manage subscriptions, including setting up new plans, offering first-time user promotions, and adding subscriptions to customer accounts.
Start by navigating to Setup > Services > Subscription. Once there, fill in all the required fields. Refer to the definitions below for each field.
Name:
Enter the name of the subscription you would like to create.
Price:
Set your monthly subscription cost.
Pounds Included:
Enter the monthly pound allowance for this subscription.
Included Price:
The price that will be charged per pound included in the subscription. This should be $0 if the pounds included in the subscription will be free.
Overage Price:
The price charged per pound processed after the customer has reached the monthly limit of pounds included.
Public:
Show the subscription in the customer-facing app.
Delivery Fee:
Tick this option if you want to charge a delivery fee for this subscription as usual.
Main Description:
Add a description to display in the app.
Additional Description:
Add any extra information to display in the app.
Opt-In Confirmation:
Add confirmation text to display when customers opt in.
Subscription Promo Shown to First-Time App Users (Optional)
If you’d like to provide a first-time app user promo, include the following information and press save:
• Subscription Promo Header
• Subscription Promo Sub-header
• Subscription Promo Body
• Subscription Promo Footer
How to Add a Subscription to a Customer Account
To add a subscription to a customer’s profile:
Locate the customer’s page.
Press “Subscription,” then “Edit Subscription.”
Locate the subscription and save it to their profile.
Note: The customer must have a payment method on file to successfully sign up for a subscription.
Additional Information regarding subscriptions
The Subscription Price is charged each month on the same date.
The customer will be able to see their subscription information in the app, including their usage.
The customer can cancel their subscription in the app, and you can also cancel it in the dashbord.
