For cases of customers such as non profit organizations you may wish to permiantly exempt the customer from any sales tax. This can be done by specifying their tax ID on the customers account. This will exempt the customer from any sales tax, but any environmental, route, or minimum order fees will still apply.

To set up the tax ID for a customer:

1. Bring up the customers page in the dashboard

2. Press the Edit Contact button on the Contact tab

3. Enter the Tax ID into the TAX ID field

4. Click save
