How to use a "Permanent" Discount for a Customer's orders

A permanent discount is a coupon code that is added to a customer's account to be applied to that customer's orders.

To add a permanent discount to a customer:

  1. Go to the Coupons page and hit Add Coupon to create the discount

  2. Go to the customer's account page > Billing > Edit Billing and select the discount

  3. Save

The code is automatically applied to each order created under the users account.

Note: If you need to apply the discount only to one specific order, you can go to the orders full detail page -> info tab -> edit -> coupon drop down and apply it there.
