Just finished your region's ranking and want to record it on start.gg? Rankings are displayed on your public profile, event pages, and help organizers seed events.
You can submit yours at start.gg/create/ranking. Here are some tips to get you started:
Each ranking Series can have multiple ranking Periods (aka seasons). This is always displayed as "Series name: Period name". For example "SSBMRank: 2026"
The ranking start date and end date are displayed on the ranking page. Recent placements within these dates are shown for each player.
When adding players, it's recommended to search using their start.gg discriminator. This makes it much easier to find the exact player you're looking for.
You can optionally enter a "Rating" for each player. This can be Elo points, votes, in-game ranks, or any other info you'd like.
An image and bio can be entered for every player. The bio supports markdown formatting. It's recommended to not upload more than 10 images at once without saving.
You can preview your ranking before it's published from your start.gg/create/ranking page. You can edit your ranking after it's published, but any changes are shown immediately on the public page.
