General liability insurance is the most basic type of insurance and protects your startup from small accidents and other mishaps at your office.

General liability provides two primary types of protection:

  • Third Party Injury protects your business if a client or guest gets injured while visiting your office.

  • Third Party Property Damage protects your business if you or one of your employees damage someone else’s property in your office building (or the building itself)

StartSure provides $1,000,000 per incident and $2,000,000 in aggregate per year of General Liability at your office, as well as any temporary co-working space or home office. Higher Limits are also available.

Coverage example:

Third Party Injury - You’re finishing up an interview with a potential head of operations and offer them a tour of your office. As you walk through the building the interviewee slips on a piece of paper and takes a hard fall– they need medical attention. Your Office Insurance policy pays
for the ambulance ride and ER bill. It also covers you in case he decides to take

legal action against you.
