Associations can utilize the Bound Messenger to send bulk messages to AD's.

  1. While in the association interface 'Home,' click on 'Messages.'

  2. To send a message, click 'Compose.'

  3. First, select your Recipients. Click the dropdown arrow next to a category to view specific people.

You may select a group to send a message to all users under each respective group. To send a message by group, click the box next to that group.

  4. Next, configure the contents of your message under 'Content.' The message 'Subject' and 'Body' are required.

In message 'Content,' you can add links for your users.

You may choose an image to display in your message. Under 'Main Image,' select 'Choose File' and upload your image file.

The following features are automatically enabled and can be disabled by clicking each checkmark box for those options.

    • You can allow or disable replies from users to your email address.

    • You can choose to send an additional Email version of your message.

    • You can choose to send an additional SMS text version of your message.

  5. Next, select optional attachments.

Attachments will only be sent via email. You must check the 'Send Email' box in the previous step for any attachments to be sent. Acceptable files are images (png, jpg, gif) and pdfs. Office documents (docx, csv, ppt, etc.) must be converted to pdf, as these file types are not accepted.

  6. Review your message and preview what your users will see.

From this window, you may schedule when the message is sent.

  7. After reviewing the message, click 'Send Message(s).'

  8. The page will refresh. A confirmation will appear. As the confirmation notes, messages may not appear in the list of messages immediately.

  9. Your message was sent. After refreshing the page, your message should appear, with the message name and date it was sent.
