🧾 What if I Sent the Wrong Amount / Address?

Mistakes happen

Updated over 2 months ago

⚠️ Before You Send

Always double-check all transaction details β€” especially the wallet address, amount, and any required memo/tag (for coins like XRP, XLM, or ATOM).
Blockchain transactions are irreversible, so accuracy is essential.

🚨 If You Sent...

πŸ’° Less Than the Minimum Amount

  • Your swap may not be processed automatically.

  • In some cases, the amount may not reach the minimum required for execution by our liquidity providers.

  • Action: Contact our support team β€” recovery is possible if the funds arrive on our side.

πŸ“¦ To the Wrong Address

  • Transactions sent to an incorrect or unrelated address cannot be reversed or retrieved.

  • StealthEX has no control over external wallets or blockchains once the funds are broadcast.

  • Action: If the address belongs to another StealthEX transaction or exchange, provide full details (TX hash, currency, amount, timestamp) so we can investigate.

🏷️ Without Memo/Tag (XRP, XLM, ATOM, etc.)

  • A missing or incorrect memo/tag prevents the system from crediting your deposit automatically.

  • Action: Contact our support team with:

    • Your TX hash

    • Your Exchange ID

    • The correct memo/tag you intended to use

  • Our team will attempt manual recovery if the funds were received.

πŸ’¬ Recovery Process

Our team can help recover funds when technically possible, depending on blockchain conditions and liquidity provider policies.
To speed up recovery:

  • Include your Exchange ID and TX hash in the ticket.

  • Add screenshots or wallet transaction details for verification.

  • Use the chat button in the bottom-right corner or email support@stealthex.com.

⏱️ Response time: Usually within a few minutes.

βœ… Helpful Tips

  • Always send the exact amount displayed on the StealthEX interface.

  • Double-check destination tags or memos before confirming.

  • Use Fixed Rate if you want to avoid timing-related exchange issues.
