📘 Understanding Memos/Tags
Some cryptocurrencies - like XRP, XLM, and ATOM - require an additional identifier called a Memo, Destination Tag, or Message when making a deposit. This tag helps exchanges automatically credit the transaction to the correct user account. If you skip this step or enter it incorrectly, your funds may still reach the exchange wallet, but they won’t be automatically linked to your account.
⚡On our exchange page, the memo field is called Payment ID!
❗ What Happens Without a Memo/Tag?
Your funds may arrive, but won’t be auto-credited.
Our team will need to manually recover the transaction.
Recovery is possible but can take additional time depending on network load.
🛠 Recovery Steps
To begin the recovery process:
Contact our Support Team — use the chat button in the bottom-right corner of the page.
Provide the following details:
TX Hash (transaction hash)
Exchange ID (the ID from your StealthEX transaction confirmation)
Our team will verify and manually recover your funds.
💡 Tips to Prevent Future Issues
Always double-check if your chosen coin requires a Memo/Tag before sending.
Never reuse a Memo/Tag from another exchange or transaction.
If unsure, pause the transaction and confirm with support first.
