Our summer camp program is designed for children entering PreK through 7th grade. The camp generally accepts children aged 4 to 13 years old, with specific exceptions: all campers must be 4 years old by their first day of camp, except for those in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Utah, and Virginia, where campers must be 5 years old.
Steve & Kate's Camp offers mentorship programs for children aged 14 and 15 (availability may vary by location). If you're interested, inquire about location-specific mentorship options.
In addition to being a certain age, all campers must be fully toilet trained, able to speak up for their needs, and get through the camp day without a nap. Camp age limit is 13; if a camper turns 14 while attending summer camp, they may finish out the summer.
Additionally, 13-year-olds are eligible to attend camp provided they meet specific conditions: If they turn 13 during the camp session, they can continue attending for its duration. At certain locations, eligibility for 13-year-olds also depends on them entering grade 8 during the registration period. Lastly, no paperwork is required for age verification during registration.
To ensure that all campers are properly trained for summer camp, please read our full Toilet Training Policy here.
